Holy flaming cow!

I'm really, really excited to say that the website I write for (well, the main one, anyway), has been nominated for a Webby!

The Webbys are called "the Oscars of the Internet", though admittedly that's by the people who organize the damn thing. The Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences hands out awards to sites it believes deserves recognition. Last year, we weren't even on their radar, this year, we're nominated.

We don't stand a chance of winning -- we're up against last year's winner, Gamasutra, and The Escapist, which has top-notch writing and Zero Punctuation, to boot -- but we're still jumping up and down. No joke, it really is just an honor to be nominated. The three of us work really, really hard to provide good content on a daily basis, and just to know that someone other than our moms is reading is very thrilling, indeed.
